In just over ten years, the Nuit aux Invalides (Night at the Invalides) show has won over an ever-growing audience of Parisians and visitors to the city. Take advantage of your stay at the Hotel du Danube to discover this extraordinary spectacle.
What is a Night at the Invalides?
This sound and light show takes place in the main courtyard of the Hôtel des Invalides, a sumptuous complex that includes the Army Museum and the Saint-Louis Cathedral, a military necropolis housing the tomb of Napoleon I. Its sober and regular architecture as well as the immense golden dome which watches over it lend themselves magnificently to projections. It’s the perfect setting for the illustrious story of the history of France and Paris. The narration is a key aspect of the success of the show. Carried by the voices of famous actors and underlined by the effects of sound and light, the show immerses you captivatingly in major events of the past.
