Come sail and discover Paris

Paris, capital of romanticism. Its monuments, its History, its majestic avenues and little tangled streets, its museums, its parks, its shops... So many unforgettable things to discover. Some say that the city's major charm comes from the fact that the Seine is going through it. The river separates Paris into two banks (Rive Droite in the North and Rive Gauche in the South), and into two islands in its center (Île de la Cité and Île Saint Louis). But above all, this opens magnificent viewpoints on the architecture of the capital. Take the time to stop in the middle of one of the many bridges connecting the two banks, and you will enjoy breathtaking views on some of the most beautiful parisian monuments. In the cold morning breeze or at sunset, the light sparkles on the surface of the water and gives the landscapes a very romantic note.

Protographies : Oscar Muňoz at the Jeu de Paume

If there is an exhibition that should not be missed in Paris these days, it has to be the one currently hosted by the national gallery of the Jeu de Paume (until September 21st). Entitled « Protographies », it unaffectedly broadcasts a very interesting selection of Oscar Muňoz's pieces, thus retracing forty years of a fruitful career. Unclassifiable as well as fascinating, the famous colombian artist has experimented with art forms as varied as sculpture, video, drawing, painting and installation. The « Protographies » exhibition is a plural journey through time, with a hint of nostalgia.

The Musique en l'Île festival, in the heart of Paris

The city Paris is currently hosting the Musique en l'Île festival, organized by La Toison d'Art, a musical council that specializes in organizing and spreading concerts of vocal, and more particularly sacred music. During this festival that lasts from July 3rd to August 31st of 2014 (included), various concerts of classical and religious music will take place every few days inside of parisian churches such as the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church and the Saint-Louis-en-l'Île church, that are located in the center of the french capital. For a few shows, England and Russia-based choirs are taking the trip all the way here for your ears to enjoy... A good opportunity to combine both the pleasure of the eyes and this of the ears in one magical evening.
